Bobby Franchise

A long time ago in a country not too far away, Bobby Franchise made his name as a local celebrity in Kamloops, BC and the greater metropolitan area. A prodigy in his field, young Bob quickly worked his way up the ranks and became something of a heartthrob, endearing himself to the female demographic with his flashy madras sport coats and flowing blond locks. However, this same playboy attitude did not ingratiate him to the boys in the back, and soon enough, after leaving his feet during an elbow drop, Bobby garnered a reputation as a bit of a "spot monkey" and was quickly ostracized from the Kamloops locker room for "putting on airs".In search of more, Bobby ventured out of British Columbia for greener pastures. Fortunately, it didn't take long for him to find work. A highly touted prospect at the time, Bobby was tapped to do a tour of the Mid-Atlantic ("The Show"), culminating in a match with its champion Gaylord Prime. Alas, it was during his first show on the tour in an undercard match against the Virginia Slims that tragedy befell young Bobby. Performing a double axe handle from the middle rope, Bobby tore every ligament in his knee off the bone upon landing. Bobby never made it to the end of the tour.In the years following, Bobby withdrew himself from the public eye, settling into a ranch in Saskatchewan to spend the rest of his days. Selling off his extensive wrestling wardrobe to pay alimony on his thirteen failed marriages, Bobby became a recluse, vowing to never work in front of the camera again. But even through his years in exile, the game never left Franchise, and he stayed plugged into the business, keeping an ever watchful eye on the hottest upcoming talent like Benny Stevens, Chase Devlin, and Chris Cane. After a series of questionable investments (including but not limited to Idaho Wrestling, the Efedder social media platform, and Konrad Raab's Truck series Toyota Tacoma), Bobby's accountant soft launched his official comeback in Tourist Trap Wrestling Showcase, successfully selling Bobby on finally putting eyes on the sights in America that he never got to see as a young up-and-comer due to his catastrophic injuries. And so, after a few years on the mend (and a decade of stem cell therapy and clinical trials), Bobby Franchise makes his return to the squared circle for...
